The Competition:
The teams need to submit App ideas that cater to the needs of any industry / sector or add value to any current business area. The winners will get cash prize and certificates.

Round 1:
Submit a synopsis of your App idea in PowerPoint format (6 slides excluding cover page) to include the following:
a. Executive summary
b. Problem
c. Solution
d. Target Market
e. USP of the App
f. Competition & Business Model

Round 2:
On campus/Skype presentation of the idea of the shortlisted teams

Important dates:
Round 1: Submission of entries: 12th May to 25th May, 2014 (Both Dates inclusive)
Round 2: 28th May, 2014
Final Results: 29th May, 2014

Team Size:
Each team can have 1 or 2 members.

Judging Criteria:
• Quality of the business plan
• Innovation
• Feasibility – technical & financial
• USP of the B-Plan
• Target customers and market opportunity
• Economics, profitability & growth prospects

Prize Money:
Total cash Prize of 7000 INR to top two entries and certificates to top five entries

Competition Rules:
By entering a submission, the Contestant warrants and agrees to the following set of rules:
• App idea should be original idea of the contestant, and solely owned by contestant with no other person or entity having any right to it
• The decision of the Judges is final and binding
• The company holds the right to cancel the contest without any notification to the contestants
• In the event of a tie between two or more submissions, then the cash prize will be equally distributed
• Snyxius has the right to use ideas received from the participating teams to publish, for app development or for publicity

Guidelines for Submission:

• Fill up the Registration form
• Like our Snyxius Facebook Page for regular updates about the competition
• E-mail your entries to bhagyashree@snyxius.com within the stipulated dates i.e. 12th May to 25th May , 2014 (Both days inclusive )
• All presentations should be in Microsoft Power Point .PPT or PPTX format only
• The subject of the email and file name should follow the convention: SnyxiusApp – (Team Name)
• No entries will be accepted after the dead line

Eligibility/Criteria for Participants:

• Individuals who have attained the age of 18 years at the time of entry
• Internal employees of Snyxius are not eligible to take part in the competition
